Many computer users out there would prefer to download music or movies on their PC with a good set of external speakers instead of headphones to listen to.

The problem with many types of computer speakers is that they are too big and bulky for small spaces. Hercules XPS has announced a new slim line speaker, should fit anywhere.

The new line of speakers includes the XPS 2.0 40 XPS 2.1 40 Slim and the Slim speakers. The two speaker sets use the same satellites are 9.5-inches tall and have a black finish with aluminum. The XPS 2.0 40 Slim speakers have 5 Watts RMS power with 10 watts peak power.

The XPS 2.1 40 speakers have the same slim satellites and add a subwoofer. In this series, bears the subtitle, only 16 watts of power have the satellite 8 watts.

Both speakers will be offered in November.

Creative in the middle of the week has now turned its attention to its computer speakers with two new offerings Inspire speaker. The area is exacerbated by the T6160, a 5.1-channel surround setup produces 30W into its satellites and provides them with a 20W subwoofer with low-end frequencies. It tries to improve high-frequency sound-stage by a cap, separates the mid-range.

The T3130 is designed for the traditional 2.1-channel audio and scales back to its performance 10W between satellites and 15W for the subwoofer.

Inspire Both models have a wired remote control and are in Singapore and the United Kingdom. Either is likely for a U.S. version, but prices and ship dates are not known.

Logitech has announced four new multimedia speakers, with “360-degree” sound.

The Logitech Z320 Speaker System, Logitech Z323 speaker system, Logitech Speaker System and the Logitech Z520 Speaker System Z523 offer omnidirectional acoustics which is claimed to see a larger sweet spot.

The Z320 is angled as ideal for the office or on the move, simply plug in and enjoy 10 watts of sound, “said Logitech.

The Z323 is 30 watts and a ported, down-firing subwoofer and is considered “ideal” for home use with an enhanced two-way design and 26 watts of power.

The Z523 System consists of satellites and a 6.5-inch Down-Firing subwoofer that claims to “deliver deep lows for rich bass you can feel.”

All products are available in the UK from September 2009.

If you like the bright color on your iPod nano, you can use this tiny speaker docks. The colors go together with the on the Nano, you can use them completely or just pick out colors compliment instead. Then with the other regular iPods, you have an accessory that is about color, even if the iPod is not.

The dock is compatible with iPod 5G, iPod Touch (1st and 2nd Gen) and iPod Classic iPod Nano (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th). So, if you have more than one iPod or the distribution of the dock with other family members, it is still well with other iPods. The Dock is in a total of ten different colors, black, blue, gray, green, orange, pink, purple, red, white and yellow. Even if these are brightly colored, they seem far less than the female iLive speakers can also be on the site yesterday. And that is far more bearable. These will be available sometime in mid-July.

Here is a speaker that I’m surprised I have not seen around before, purely because it is a fairly logical combination. I’m not a big fan that it is only in the cheesy bright pink, but it would be a great speaker for women. If you accept that deal with the possibility to connect your MP3 player to a speaker, this might be easily dropped into the bottom of your purse.

It has the shape of a compact and even has the added feature that a mirror on the inside. The face plate on the very top can be changed to show a little more personal. Such as a family photo or a picture of a girl last night. The speakers at this unfortunate is that instead of the USB-powered, it takes 3 AAA batteries. It is not the end of the world, but it would be nice if it is rechargeable.

Reinhartshausen for logic when it comes to small, portable speakers, I prefer a flat design. It makes things easier for those who prefer to be able to throw the speakers in the bag when not in use. Although this is Apple isn ‘t extraordinarily large, it still has that the round shape makes it a little cumbersome to carry. However, if you do not, that really matters in your pocket, then this strange black Apple would still be a decent option for your music needs.

It uses a 3.5-mm connector to hook into your MP3 player and a USB cable be wired to your PC. It also includes a neck strap, so that one super-cool with a black apple dangling from the neck. The obnoxious part about ordering these speakers is that you have no way to know the actual dimensions of the apple. It would be nice if they find that information. They at least list the speaker weighs 85g.

Spring has sprung, and in many parts of the country, and before you know it’s the heat is sweltering and many of us will be heading to the pool on hand and have fun. An important part of a pool party is the music, the catch is that water and most electronic devices do not cope.

Grace Digital Audio has announced a new floating wireless speaker as Aqua sounders. The spokesman cars around the pool or hot tub and has a pair of integrated mood lighting for nighttime enjoyment.

The submersible vehicles speakers is only part of the sentence, is a channel that broadcasts music from an audio source with a 3.5 mm jack for the speaker. Range: 150 meters from the transmitter and the battery inside the speaker is good for six hours. A transmitter can be up to ten speakers. You need a really big pool for that many speakers to be.
