A PS4 without Blu-ray?

While the PS3 was in support of Blu-ray HD DVD instrumental ward, there is a strong argument for dropping an optical drive from the playstation 4 at all. Console owners are already downloading gigabytes-worth of game demos, video trailers, full length movies and TV shows. With a giant hard drive in may of the ps4, games are easy to install led directly to the console on release day level load times would be eliminated.

Together with the Cell processor, the Blu-ray drive is one of the most expensive components of the PS3. The PS3 high price has forced it to third place behind the Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360. Sony will be keen not to price in the next console battle.

As Acclaim boss Dave Perry recently said: “Based on the actual cost of the PlayStation 3 and sold because they are at a loss, Sony basically has pretty much no chance of making money on the PS3 because they lost more money than them at all the top of the PlayStation 2 – it’s not even for Sony to happen. ”

Sony can not simply slash its prices, as Microsoft has recently. And Blu-ray is partly to blame. Billy Pidgeon, an analyst at market researcher IDC points out: “Blu-ray licensees would be threatened by the PS3 in stand-alone Blu-ray player. The PS3 is set a little on this side of the question.”

A Comparison of Sony’s PlayStation Portable and Apple’s iPod

psp vs ipod A Comparison of Sony’s PlayStation Portable and Apple’s iPod

Sony has long been trying to create a multimedia device with the PSP, but it is primarily a handheld console. Although Apple’s Free iPod music player has one as more and more abilities with new models and new software. I have my head in round one of PSP-head vs. iPod: A Confession of sorts.

Although I am not quite a Sony fangirl, I have generally preferred game consoles from Sony, which bought the competition, because my PlayStation 2 in the first month of introduction. The various PlayStations always seemed to have a bigger and better selection of games. Likewise, I’m not a Mac addict, but my first computer was a Macintosh, and when I bought a PC, I wish I had not. I am now to be back in the Free MacBook world and happier.

When the first Free PS3 was announced, I was pretty excited. I still have one of the original “fat” PSP-1000 models, but it is my new “slim” PSP-2000 is that most use these days. I mostly use my PSP for gaming, but if you’ve read a lot about the PSP, you might have noticed that I was a little bit about the non-gaming have written things that can do a PSP. I have anime videos, both from a memory stick and a UMD while waiting for the class, or just because it is easier to curl up in bed with a PSP as a TV and DVD player. I have on my UMDs flatscreen TV with the PSP saw a video player. I use regularly (though perhaps I should put that) in the past my PSP as a music player. I read comics to occasionally searched the Internet, and so on. If you read my review of the original PSP hardware, you will see that these non-gaming capabilities, the PSP really a better value than if it just a game handheld (but what a good game is handheld).

I have also followed with interest the development of the iPod. Whether you like Apple or not, they always come with interesting products and are the masters of beautiful product design. While I liked the look of the first iPod, they did not seem to me to everything I do not have my PSP, and can have my PSP games offer. They were not really that much smaller than the PSP, and they did not have a huge amount of memory. Why carry around when multiple devices PSP could do all this?

The addition of video capabilities to the iPod make things a little more interesting if the PSP so clear a sharp, crystal-image, it is still far ahead (not that I really) a comparison of the two devices at this point. What finally caught my interest and made me perhaps I should have an iPod and PSP was the small size of the iPod shuffle.

The biggest drawback about using the PSP as a music player for me has always been its size. It is small enough that if I just something I can carry around in my pocket while I listen to the bus, it’s perfect. If on the other hand, I would like to be able to be plugged it into my pocket while I’m in the darkroom developing photos, or print from the printer, make things a little awkward. I have a pair of pants with big pockets, and for a long time that I do just now. But I saw people with their tiny iPods, and always thought, “You know, that would be more convenient.”

Well, here’s the real confession: I have an iPod a few weeks. I seldom with my PSP to listen to music, though (it is still getting considerable use for games and not just because I need to write articles for the site – I would not have this job if I did not Love the work).

Next time I’ll give you a closer look, what finally made me decide to buy the iPod, and what I think after a few weeks of use. Then I’ll really the PSP and iPod (presented in its various forms) and information head to head comparison.

Logitech Wireless Guitar Controller For PS3/PS2

logitech guitar Logitech Wireless Guitar Controller For PS3/PS2

Logitech Wireless Guitar PS3 PS2 has a wooden body, wood neck, metal frets and rosewood fingerboard, which means that it will bring you closer to the “Rock” experience as a normal Rock Band Guitar Hero guitars. We tried it quickly and the weight was comparable to an actual guitar. The keys were Clicky enough without overly Clicky-like Guitar Hero 2 controller and Strummer felt solid enough. There would be weeks of actual play to see how good it is to use, but on the surface, it is good.

The smaller touches, like the “Start” button, the display Star Power button and the metal frets suggest that there is more quality than a standard Guitar Hero Rock Band guitar.
