The Tom Tom GO 2405 has added some recent aspects of his pocket. We encounter a problem with the temperature readings from the barometer mode, as it can be influenced by body heat. Suunto recommends removing the watch from your wrist for 15 minutes for a more reliable temperature – not exactly the most convenient options.

The altimeter, which barometric altimeter measurements are used, is not exact, either. And depending on the weather, we had to reset the altimeter at least once a day. But its usefulness to local walks, noting height with an accuracy of 10 meters after a reset, and also to show us how fast we increased or decreased in height in the log of the Vector’s (which holds up to 3,800 sets of data).

One of the most useful tools on the Vector is the digital compass – after an initial calibration (we found out that the use of these powerful watch a lot of tweaks required), it kept our heads in the right direction with the readings in both directions and degree. We just had to remember to maintain the watch – to maintain the normal angle of the compass, chronometer reading skewed results.

And, oh yes, the Vector also keeps time. His time mode displays day and date with 12 – or 24-hour period. It also has three daily alarms, a stopwatch and a timer. Even while using the other modes, the Vector displays the current time at the bottom of the screen.

The Vector has a nice, bright backlit display and is waterproof to 100 meters – as long as any buttons. We did not go down that far, but the surface without any problem from the bottom of our 12-meter deep pool.
